Bio: 

Nadja Drost is a Canadian multi-media reporter currently investigating various aspects of the gold mining boom in Colombia as a 2012 Alicia Patterson fellow.

Based in Bogotá, Colombia since 2009, she contributes to GlobalPost, Maclean’s Magazine, The Globe and Mail, Deutsche Welle Radio, the CBC and others.

Nadja is the director and producer of the award-winning feature documentary “Between Midnight and the Rooster’s Crow” (2005). She has a master’s degree from Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism in New York where she studied at the Stabile Center for Investigative Journalism.
